Who we are
Toolo is run by Kiro Technology Limited, a company registered in Ireland (CRO no. [CRO number]), with its registered office at [registered office address]. Contact: hello@toolo.ie. Our privacy policy explains how we use your details.
What Toolo is
Toolo is an online marketplace where homeowners find trade businesses, get quotes and pay for work, and software that trades use to run their business. Contracts for work are between the homeowner and the trade business; we are not a party to them and don’t carry out the work ourselves.
Early access and page claims
Joining the early access list or claiming your page is free and doesn’t create an account or commit you to anything. Claiming a page holds it for you. Before a business can quote, we check its VAT, CRO or Revenue tax registration, its public liability insurance and, where its trade needs one, its professional registration. Only claim a page for a business you own or are authorised to run, and don’t sign anyone else up. Once you have a Toolo account, the terms in the app apply.
Information on this site
Local pages, guides and grant pages are general information to help you. We check them carefully and say where figures come from, but grant amounts and rules can change, so check the official source before you rely on them. Business listings on local pages are built from public sources and haven’t been checked by us unless they say so.
Using this site
Please don’t copy or scrape this site, get around its security, or submit false or abusive information.
Your rights as a consumer
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and other consumer law.
Our liability
Toolo does not carry out the work and is not a party to the contract between you and a trade. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by Irish law and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the law where you live.
