Brick learns your prices, writes the quote while you talk, and turns it into the invoice when the job's done. You check everything. Nothing goes out until you press send.
Upload ten or so past invoices and supplier bills, as PDFs or photos. Brick works out your rates and your usual mark-up on materials, and you approve each price before it goes on your rate card.
On site, tap the mic and say what's needed, the way you'd tell your apprentice. Add a few photos. Brick turns it into quote lines with quantities, priced from your rate card.
When the job's done, the invoice fills in from the accepted quote and any changes the customer approved, less any deposit paid. Your logo, your colour, a card pay link and reminders on days 2, 5 and 7.
Brick never makes up a price. Every figure comes from your own rate card, and anything it can't match is flagged for you to price.

Replace the invoicing app, the paper diary and the contacts list in your phone. One place, one login, your whole team.
Every invoice has a pay link for card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The money comes to you as soon as they pay, then out to your bank. Deposits and staged payments too.
Quote and invoice the customers you found yourself, with a lower fee on their card payments. Bring them in one by one or from a spreadsheet.
Paid in cash, by bank transfer, cheque or card machine? Record it against the invoice and your books still add up.
Your VAT on sales for each period, set out the way the VAT3 return asks for it, with a reminder before Revenue's deadline.
Reminders go out on days 2, 5 and 7, each with the pay link, and stop the moment the money lands.
Your logo, brand colour, payment terms and footer on every invoice, with your VAT number and sequential numbering done right.
Day, week and month views. Booked jobs land in the calendar, you assign them, and each person sees their own day on their phone.
Invite your staff and whoever does your books. Your accounts person sees invoices, not the whole business, and it's checked on our servers.
Mark a job as recurring, like a boiler service. When it's due we remind the customer from you, with a one-tap Book again.
Money in by month, quotes won, what's still owed. At year end, one zip for your accountant: every invoice and payment as CSV, plus a PDF of each invoice.
Who still owes me? What's on Thursday? What did I earn last month? Brick answers from your own records, and only ever sees your business.
Reviews only come from jobs paid through Toolo, so they're real. Reply in public, report one that breaks the rules, and show off your work in photos and short videos.
We check your insurance and registrations, like Safe Electric, RECI, RGII, SEAI and tax clearance, show them on your page and remind you before they expire.
See what each SEAI and council grant asks contractors for, so claims don't come back for a missing detail on the invoice.
The grant invoice checklistOn top of the tools, there's a marketplace. Homeowners near you describe the job to Brick, add photos, and it lands on your Jobs board already explained.

No. There are no lead fees on Toolo. You don't pay to see a job, to contact the customer or to send a quote. Pro is one subscription that covers every job in your area and all the business tools, and first members get their first 2 months free from the day they register.
The only other charge is a small fee on card payments customers make to you through Toolo.
It's how quotes and invoices get written for you. Brick builds your rate card from past invoices and supplier bills, drafts each quote from what you say on site, and when the job's done the invoice fills in from the accepted quote, any approved changes and any deposit already paid.
Brick only suggests. Prices always come from your own rate card, lines it can't match are flagged for you to price, and nothing reaches a customer until you press send.
No. You can type a few notes instead, or build the quote yourself by picking items from your rate card. Invoices for your own customers work the same way.
Yes. Add them one by one or import a spreadsheet, then quote and invoice them through Toolo so all your work is in one place. Card payments from your own customers have a lower fee than marketplace jobs, and you can record cash, transfers, cheques and card machine payments too. Their details are private to your business.
Yes. Quotes and invoices carry VAT line by line at 13.5% or 23% (or zero), with your VAT number and sequential invoice numbers. The VAT page totals your sales for each period the way the VAT3 return asks for them, and reminds you before Revenue's deadline. Not VAT registered? No VAT is charged.
Homeowners describe the job to Brick or fill in a short form. When it matches your trades and the area you cover, it shows up on your Jobs board and we let you know. You see the spec, the photos and the rough location before you decide to quote.
It isn't a race to quote first. Quoting on each job stays open for 24 hours, or until 10 quotes are in. Then Brick shortlists the best three to five for the homeowner, weighing your reviews, verification, distance, how complete the quote is, how the price compares with the others and how quickly you replied. Everyone who quoted hears how they got on, with a tip if they didn't make the shortlist.
Emergencies work differently: quoting is open for 2 hours and the homeowner sees each quote as it arrives.
When the customer pays your invoice, the money comes to you straight away, less our fee and card processing, and Stripe pays it out to your bank account. Deposits and staged payments work the same way.
For jobs booked through Toolo, the customer can flag a problem within 14 days of paying. You have 72 hours to respond and can offer a return visit or a partial or full refund. If you can't agree within 7 days, our team reviews it and decides, and any refund comes back out of your Stripe balance or next payout.
Yes. Invite your staff and your accounts person by email. Each person sees what their role allows: your crew see their own jobs and day, your accounts person sees the invoices.
Your VAT or CRO number (or your sole trader tax registration) and a current public liability insurance certificate. You can also add tax clearance, Safe Electric or RECI, RGII, SEAI registration and trade body memberships, and each one shows as a badge on your page. We'll remind you before anything expires.
